Head of Finance
The Yard is an award-winning charity that runs adventure play services for children with disabilities and/or additional support needs and their families.
About the role:
As Head of Finance, you will work closely with the Executive Team to contribute to the strategic & business planning of The Yard. With management responsibility for the Finance Team while providing oversight to the Office & Facilities Manager.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and managing our IT service provider contract and procurement of other key utilities.
Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision making.
Conducting detailed financial forecasts to anticipate future financial performance and funding needs.
This job is for you if you have:
- Experience in a senior financial role
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting
- Excellent leadership & communication skills
- Knowledge of IT strategy and management of utilities and other contractors
- Can work collaboratively with senior leaders and support the professional development of others
