Our vision is to create a state-of-the-art facility that will expand our current services and provide even more play areas, sensory rooms, music and craft spaces, and outdoor areas.
The funds we’ve raised so far have enabled us to begin the renovation work, including replacing the roof, creating new spaces for activities, and improving the building’s accessibility. With the final £300,000, we’ll be able to finish the job and bring our vision to life. This facility will truly be a home from home for every family that walks through our doors.

Where we started…
The space as it was—ready for a complete transformation to create a new home for The Yard Dundee.

Building work begins…
The space has been completely stripped back, and work is underway on our new roof and the reconfiguration of the rooms.

Essential works on the roof continue and the rooms are beginning to take shape.
April, 2025
Rooflight complete!
Our new rooflight has now been installed, marking a major milestone – for the first time in 10 years, the building is fully watertight again.
