About John
John Cox is a seasoned business leader and strategic adviser, bringing extensive experience in organisational development and community engagement. As Managing Director of Cox & Co, he specialises in business growth, marketing, positioning and of course, effective leadership. John is passionate about building high-performing teams, fostering inclusive environments and empowering young people through education and mentorship.
John had a background in professional rugby before setting up his first business in 2006. He has since built Cox & Co into one of Scotland’s leading property brokerages, established his own events company in Edinburgh and spends a great deal of his spare time working on fundraising initiatives throughout Edinburgh & the Lothians. John’s commitment to local charities over the past 20 years and his collaborative approach make him a valuable addition to The Yard’s Board of Trustees.
