About Rachel
Rachel, as our Head of Service, provides oversight to all The Yard’s services. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role, underpinned by her extensive background supporting children and families. As a qualified and registered Social Worker, Rachel has dedicated her career to enhancing the lives of children, with a particular focus on child development, attachment, and the effects of early childhood trauma.
Her leadership at The Yard is informed not only by her professional accomplishments, including managing social care teams and mentoring social work students but also by her personal experience as a parent of a child with Autism. Rachel’s passion for ensuring families receive the right support at the right time drives her commitment to making The Yard a place where every child can thrive.
