About Sophie
Sophie joined The Yard in August 2024 as Head of Partnerships, bringing a wealth of experience from her background in social work. She has worked extensively in child protection, supporting children with additional needs, and within adult mental health services.
Before her social work career, Sophie supported children requiring additional learning assistance in educational settings. Over the past seven years, she worked at Future Pathways within the In-Care Survivors Alliance, where she supported adults who experienced harm during their time in care as children, most recently serving as Depute Alliance Manager.
Sophie is thrilled to be part of The Yard and is eager to contribute to supporting our growth and development.
